Anwar Khalife
I am Anwar Khalife. I am a businessman but a rider by heart. I always follow the principle of true brotherhood wherever possible. The feeling I get when I ride is unlike anything else. I feel free from this stressful world. Riding is a passion and a charge booster to me.
I can’t stop time so I always try to convert it into memories.
My riding journey started way back in 2012 with a Royal Enfield Electra, then a RE Classic, then RE Bullet 500 and now a Himalayan (all completing 50k kms on the odometer, except the Himalayan since it is new).
I started my long rides with Leh-Ladakh in 2015, riding from Chandigarh to Amritsar, covering Khardung La, Marsmik La and Zoji La. I remember because of a breakdown I had and still then I did approx 90 kms of pure off-road with a broken rear bearing. Then in 2016, I did Pune-Nepal-Pune covering 7500 kms. I still remember the deadly landslide occurring right in front of us and even the off-roads with new challenges were amazing. Riding to Spiti in 2019 was my most memorable ride. No road is too long when you have a good company that’s what helped me to create lovely memories. Riding on the world’s most dangerous road was not at all easy but skills and experience always help to cross many barriers. Covering Sach Pass and leading the file of riders upto Kaza was the most memorable and unforgettable experience of my life. I have also been attending Rider Mania in Goa since 2013 regularly, during which I won the 2nd prize in Trails and Slow Race in 2016.
I am born to ride and I can’t live without it!
