My name’s Karan and I’m the COO & CMO of The Virtuoso Group, based in Pune. I am a fitness enthusiast and a guy with a tremendous amount of love for travelling. I’m always in search of a chance to travel, be it anywhere and anyhow. But travelling on a bike is by far the most favourite and most preferred mode of travel. I ride a Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 and have been riding since 2016.
The journey I have had with my bike till now has been nothing but out of this world. I have been from Pune to Gokarna, Pune to Goa, Pune to Bangalore, Pune to Ladakh, Pune to Bhutan to Guwahati and many more places in and around Maharashtra. It’s pretty difficult for me to choose the most memorable long ride because all of them have been special in their own way.
But if I absolutely had to choose the most memorable one or two, it would be the rides to Ladakh, because, well, it’s LADAKH, and Bhutan, because there are not many who have / would do that ride and it also is my longest ride till date.
Riding, for me personally, is therapy. It’s freedom. It’s a feeling that just pastes a smile on your face, no matter where you go.
My advice for new riders would be to take out as much time as possible and ride whenever you get a chance. The more you ride, the more skilled you’ll get and more importantly, the happier you’ll be!
My riding mantra would definitely be “Four wheels move the body and two wheels move the soul”, because I have experienced it and still experience it every time I ride!
